Origin

In early 2022, I founded OpensRun, a name that embodies my understanding and pursuit of technology—Open represents the spirit of openness and exploration, while Run symbolizes continuous progress and relentless pursuit.

Also in 2022, I once planned to establish an education brand. Initially, I gained a sense of fulfillment and achievement, but gradually, I began to realize that parents' expectations for their children's academic performance, and the pressure I exerted on children under such expectations, made me someone who knew how to do better but couldn't achieve the autonomy to choose educational approaches. As AI technology rapidly developed, I further realized that parents' obsession with their children's test scores had lost another compelling reason. Ultimately, I decided to abandon the education brand and return to OpensRun, continuing to do more valuable things based on following my own ideas.

From an ordinary engineer to an independent entrepreneur, I have always believed in the power of technology to change how people work. Through years of macOS/iOS development practice, I deeply understand users' desire for efficient, secure, and intelligent tools. It is this passion for technology and insight into user needs that led me to establish OpensRun, dedicated to creating truly valuable software products.

Exploration

In today's rapidly evolving technology landscape, I maintain sensitivity to cutting-edge technologies and a passion for learning. When AI technology swept the globe, I saw its tremendous potential in improving work efficiency. Thus, I developed Yulan—a macOS intelligent assistant that supports multi-source search, quick launch, and intelligent analysis. It not only supports local and remote AI models but also deeply integrates advanced artificial intelligence technology with real-world work scenarios, making AI a true assistant in users' work.

At the same time, I also follow the development trends of Web3.0. Although still in the exploration stage, I believe that concepts such as decentralization and data sovereignty will play important roles in future software design. This forward-thinking approach also influences OpensRun product design philosophy—we not only solve current problems but also prepare for future possibilities.

In technology selection, I insist on using Swift and native frameworks, which not only ensures application performance and stability but also reflects deep understanding of the Apple ecosystem. From MVVM architecture to Combine asynchronous processing, from AppKit to SwiftUI, every technical decision is carefully considered to provide users with the best experience.
