5. Best Practices
5.1 Image Selection Recommendations
- Use high-quality, high-resolution original images
- Choose images with clear subjects and high contrast with the background for the best matting results
- For icon generation, it is recommended to use square images with a resolution of at least 1024x1024
5.2 Matting Tips
- For complex images, you may need to pre-process them in an image editing software to enhance the contrast between the subject and the background
- If the automatic matting result is not ideal, try adjusting the image lighting or contrast and try again
- Processed images will be saved in PNG format, preserving the transparent background
Note: Please ensure that you have the right to use and modify the images you process. The icons and processed images generated by the software are kept and managed by the user.
6. Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why is the matting result not ideal?
A: The matting effect is influenced by image quality, subject clarity, and background complexity. For complex images, you may need to use professional image editing software for manual matting.
Q: Where are the generated icons?
A: Icons are saved in the output path you specified. macOS icons are saved as icon.icns files, and iOS icons are saved in the AppIcon.appiconset folder. After processing is complete, you can click the "View in Finder" button to directly open the output folder.
Q: How do I use the generated iOS icons in my Xcode project?
A: Drag the generated AppIcon.appiconset folder into the Assets.xcassets of your Xcode project, and Xcode will automatically recognize it as an icon set.
Q: Why can't the program access certain folders?
A: For security reasons, macOS restricts applications from accessing certain system folders. Please choose folders under your user directory, such as Documents, Downloads, or Pictures.
